WSI + EEC

A smart choice for weather radar has always been EEC with more than 950 advanced radar systems standing sentinel in some of the most extreme environments on Earth.

Now EEC is part of WSI Corporation, a world leader in weather forecasting and visualization of disruptive weather. Together, we’re bringing the next generation of weather technology to market now.

Our newest developments in global lightning, radar, satellite and proprietary forecast modeling all support customer demand for earlier severe weather warnings.  And when it comes to radar innovation, we are a global leader. We have made dramatic advances in dual polarization, ultra-high definition signal processing and displays that provide true insight into storms and new cost saving hardware designs.

The new WSI/EEC partnership with the University of Oklahoma is tremendously exciting. Teaming together one of the world's leading radar manufacturers and leading weather solutions providers with a  leading radar and forecasting research and education institution will create tremendous new opportunities to further our collective missions to improve the detection, forecasting and warning of disruptive and hazardous weather.

“Teaming one of the world's leading radar manufacturers with a leading radar research and education institution will result in improved detection, forecasting and warning of disruptive and hazardous weather.” - Peter Neilley, Vice President
